Two Day Hangover continued her impressive freshman campaign at Pocono Downs on August 17, scoring her second consecutive Pennsylvania Sire Stakes victory and remaining unbeaten in three career starts.

The 2-year-old trotting filly by Captain Corey out of Sherry Lyns Lady handled the sloppy conditions at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania with ease. Setting a moderate pace early, Two Day Hangover saved her best for the stretch, powering home in :28.1 to stop the clock in 1:55.2.
Driven by Mattias Melander and trained by Marcus Melander, Two Day Hangover held off Miss Eliza and Patty’s Girl to secure the victory. The win marked her second straight Pennsylvania Sire Stakes triumph, following her impressive career debut victory in the Pennsylvania All-Stars at Pocono in July.
Two Day Hangover is owned by Brittany Farms LLC and Marvin Katz LLC, continuing a successful partnership that has produced numerous outstanding Standardbreds.
With three wins in three starts, Two Day Hangover is quickly establishing herself as one of the promising young trotters of the 2026 season. Her continued progress will be one to watch as she takes aim at the remaining Pennsylvania stakes events.
